House Church. What comes to mind when you hear this phrase? Undoubtably some think of a small group of people in a basement. Maybe some imagine people mad at "big church". Still others might think of a cult or to others it is a total contradiction in terms. For them it might be two options. Do i want to stay home or go to church?  

On Sunday we invite you to do both. 

Imagine your Sunday morning spent with close friends sharing brunch in a local home. The kids are playing outside or in a room. You share coffee and your week events with others and get to pray about needs and concerns. After this you open the Bible for a brief time of study. You talk about how to apply it to real life and ask a few questions. Perhaps you talk about something you heard at this week’s large gathering.  You’re dressed comfortably and are in the community where you live. You are able to pray for it, care about it, and give to it. You can do all this knowing that all over your city others are doing the same thing at the same time in their neighborhoods. Sound impossible or maybe just unheard of?  

At Soma we believe that the church is people. For this reason we have designed House Churches in such a way that allow people to be Jesus to their community and become like Him in their lives. We believe in House Churches so much, we placed them on Sunday morning.
