"Following Christ Means Sharing Your Life"

In short, this simple phrase sums up why we do House Churches. But sharing your life with whom?

...With Other believers: The Bible has a ton of "one another" commands to those who follow Jesus. Things like love one another, bear one another’s burdens, and forgive one another. We believe that it is impossible to accomplish all of these in a large gathering setting. We also believe that it is impossible to get connected and get to know people in a large gathering setting. For this reason House Church’s exist to provide that close group of family and friends that will   love, encourage, and grow together. After all if the "Church is people" (and we believe it is), we want to provide a spot in our body for people to just be the church.

...With Our City: As followers of Jesus we want to impact our city and our neighborhoods. We believe that a relationship with God is available to anyone. For this reason we want to share our community with our larger community. We want to let others know about the freedom, life, and guiltlessness available in a relationship with God. We want to share what we have been given with our neighbors. Jesus was not selfish and He was no respecter of persons. Why should we be any different? Jesus said, "If you love only those that love you, what good is that? Everyone does that." We want to love those different from us.

...With other Cities: Ultimately if we keep everything to ourselves we will only grow inward and be in danger of becoming self-focused. For this reason we hope to one day release a network of House Churches in another city to begin another separate expression of the body of Christ complete with large gathering. Living bodies reproduce. We are praying for that day.
