At Soma we recognize that while autonomous, every local church should be in relationship with other churches that are pursuing common goals and discipleship.
The level of this partnership and extent of this partnership is often dictated by the extent that a level of congruity exists in core beliefs, practices, and values. Not every level of co-operation will be the same with every church in every ministry opportunity.
Soma is a member of the Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches. This is a level of partnership that includes voluntary accountability to other network churches and sharing of resources. While some would say this is the denomination to which Soma belongs, we would say it is more like our family. The FGBC is a large contributor to our planting in Springfield.
